The new car is scheduled to be officially launched in the second half of this year and will be launched in the third quarter of this year at the earliest. As can be seen from the previously released appearance rendering pictures, the head of Toyota's new generation C-HR model is equipped with a boomerang LED headlight group, and a large-size blackened honeycomb air intake grille is assembled below it. The rear part is expected to adopt a hidden exhaust layout, and a large spoiler will be retained above the tailgate, which is more recognizable than the Honda XR-V model. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4,500 × 1,800 × 1,570 mm and the wheelbase is 2,700 mm. Compared with the current models, its body size has also ushered in an overall improvement.

In terms of power, Toyota's new generation of C-HR models will be built on the brand's TNGA-C platform. The power will be equipped with 1.8L hybrid electric vehicle, 2.0L hybrid electric vehicle and 2.0L plug-in hybrid electric vehicle for consumers to purchase. The transmission system will match the electric continuously variable transmission gearbox, and some models will also provide an electronically controlled four-wheel drive system. In addition, the new car will also launch a pure electric version for consumers to buy for the first time. It is expected to be named bZ2, with a maximum cruising range of 400 kilometers. The main competitors at the same level include BYD Yuanqin, Nezha V and other pure electric models at the same level.
